Middle Eastern Adana Kabob
- 1 1/2 lb Ground Lamb
- 1 onion
- 1 red pepper
- 1 bunch flat parsley
- 2 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp Biber (pepper spread) or crushed red pepper
- 1/2 tbsp cumin
- 1/2 tbsp coriander
- 1/2 tbsp paprika
- 1 oz olive oil
- 1 salt & pepper
- 1 for yogurt spread
- 8 oz plain yogurt
- 1 clove crushed garlic
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 salt
- 1 for sandwich
- 6 box pita breads
- 1 chopped romain lettuce
- 1 chopped tomato
- 1 sliced red onion
- put ground lamb in large bowl
- in food processor...put chopped up red pepper..garlic ..parsley & olive oil & gring into paste & put in bowl with lamb
- combine all other ingredients in bowl with lamb & mix well & let sit in fridge overnight if possible
- form into long patties & cook on grill
- for spread
- in small bowl combine yogurt ..crushed garlic..lemon juice & salt...& wisk well
- for sandwich...open pita put lettuce ..tomato..red onion ...adana kabob & drizzle with yogurt spread
- eat & enjoy
