Skillet Lasagna
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (2 1/2 oz.) envelope spaghetti mix
- 3 c. medium size noodles
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1 large can tomatoes
- 2 (4 oz.) pkg. (2 c.) shredded cheese
- 2 Tbsp. fat
- 1 lb. cream style cottage cheese
- 1 Tbsp. basil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. water
- Lightly brown meat in fat in large electric skillet at 350u0b0. Sprinkle 1/2 of spaghetti mixture over meat.
- Spread cottage cheese over meat.
- Then arrange uncooked noodles in layer. Sprinkle remaining spaghetti sauce mix, basil, parsley flakes and salt. Add tomatoes with liquid.
- Be sure all is moistened.
- Cover tightly.
- Set temperature at 200u0b0 or 225u0b0.
- Cook 30 to 35 minutes or until noodles are done.
- Disconnect cord.
- Sprinkle cheese on top.
- Cover and let stand 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
