Pork Chop Bake Recipe
- 6 med. thick pork chops
- Salt
- Pepper
- Paprika
- Flour
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 green pepper, cut in strips
- 1 can pineapple chunks
- 1 pkg. Herbox chicken broth
- Season pork chops with salt, pepper and paprika.
- Dust with flour and brown on both sides.
- Put chops in flat baking dish and cover with onion and green pepper.
- Drain pineapple chunks saving juice.
- Put chunks on top of pork chops and add in sufficient water to juice to equal 1 c.. Add in chicken broth to pineapple liquid and pour over chops.
- Bake in 325 degrees oven for 1 1/4 hrs.
- This recipe goes well with a casserole of Mashed Sweet Potatoes and Apple Sauce and a vegetable of Steamed Cabbage or possibly Brussel Sprouts.
