Marie's Strawberry and Gorgonzola Salad
- 12 iceberg lettuce
- 12 romaine lettuce
- 2 tablespoons gorgonzola, crumbled
- 1 lb strawberry
- 6 tablespoons olive oil and vinegar dressing (Newmans Own)
- 2 tablespoons Splenda granular
- Prepare the Strawberries the day before by hulling and slicing them in two pieces.
- Sprinkle them with the Splenda and stir to cover all pieces without breaking them up, cover and refrigerate.
- Shred the two types of lettuce and toss them together.
- Spread the lettuce on plates.
- Sprinkle the lettuce with the Gorgonzola and some of the salad dressing.
- Place the Strawberries on the lettuce and add a little more dressing to taste.
- Serve as a starter or a main course.
