Chicken Casserole
- 2 chickens
- 1/2 c. onions
- 1/2 c. green pepper
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can black pitted olives, chopped
- cheese
- 16 oz. pkg. egg noodles, cooked
- 4 oz. can pimentos
- bread crumbs
- 12 oz. frozen peas
- 4 oz. mushrooms
- Stew chickens with some onion, celery and salt.
- Saute in butter, onions, green pepper and drained mushrooms.
- In a large pan, put liquid from drained mushrooms and olives; add chicken broth.
- Bring to boil and add noodles, sauteed mixture, olives and frozen peas (thawed).
- Add 1 cup cream of mushroom soup (undiluted) and chicken.
- Put half of this mixture in baking dish. Add layer of cheese, other half of cheese and bread crumbs.
- Bake in 350u0b0 oven.
