Apple Stuffing Casserole
- 4 cup chopped apples (peeled optional)
- 3 cup walnuts
- 5 chopped stalks of celery
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp poultry seasoning (rosemary, sage, thyme, marjoram, savory, parsley, onion power)
- 12 cup cubed whole wheat bread
- 2 cup raisins
- 1 cup Apple cider
- 1/2 cup egg substitute
- 3 cup large onions (chopped)
- preheat oven 325F
- in large skillet, saute apples, onion, celery in butter for 5 min.
- remove from heat
- add in salt, cinnamon, seasoning
- in large bowl, combine bread cubes, raisins, apple mixture
- add cider and egg substitute
- toss to mix
- place in greased baking dish
- bake covered for 30-40 min
- uncover
apples, walnuts, stalks of celery, butter, salt, ground cinnamon, poultry seasoning, whole wheat bread, raisins, apple cider, egg substitute, onions
