Asian Beef And Vegetables Recipe

  2. Stir together soy sauce and red pepper flakes in a shallow glass baking dish.
  3. Add in minute steaks, turn to coat and let marinate at room temperature 30 min, turning once.

  5. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain and rinse with cool water.

  7. Heat a 12-inch nonstick skillet* over medium heat.
  8. Add in 2 tsp.
  9. oil, onion and bell pepper.
  10. Cook 5 min, till onion softens.
  11. Add in green onions, ginger and garlic.
  12. Cook 1 minute, stirring.
  13. Add in cabbage, mushrooms, water, salt and pepper.
  14. Bring to a boil over high heat.
  15. Cook 3 min, stirring, till vegetables are tender-crisp.

  17. Add in pasta to skillet, tossing with vegetables till pasta is heated through.
  18. Transfer to bowl; cover and keep hot.

  20. Wipe out skillet.
  21. Add in remaining 1 tsp.
  22. oil and heat over high heat.
  23. Add in steaks; cook 1 minute per side, till well browned and medium-rare.
  24. Place on a cutting board and thinly slice on the diagonal.
  25. Divide pasta and vegetables between 4 serving plates; top with steak.
  26. Makes 4 servings.
