Chocolate Dipped Apples
- 6 wooden popsicle sticks
- 6 small to medium apples, washed and well dried
- 3/4 cup chopped nuts
- 1 tub (7 ounces) dipping chocolate, any variety
- Insert 1 wooden popsicle stick into stem end of each apple.
- Microwave chocolate as directed on package.
- Dip bottom half of each apple into chocolate, turning until evenly coated.
- Sprinkle nuts over chocolate.
- Place on wax paper covered tray.
- Refrigerate 30 minutes or until chocolate is firm.
- Cover and store any leftover apples in refrigerator.
- ** I have also dipped these into colored sprinkles, flaked coconut and chopped oreo chocolate sandwich cookies in place of the nuts.
