Irish Soda Bread(Yields 1 Loaf)

  1. Preheat oven to 400u0b0.
  2. Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and sugar.
  3. Cut in butter until looks like corn meal.
  4. Stir in raisins and caraway seed.
  5. Mix together vinegar and milk.
  6. Add liquid to flour mixture and stir vigorously.
  7. Turn out on floured board.
  8. Knead 8 to 10 times.
  9. Shape in round, greased 8-inch pie pan.
  10. Cut crisscross (side to side).
  11. Brush top with milk.
  12. Place in 400u0b0 oven for 15 minutes, then lower temperature to 375u0b0 for 30 minutes.
  13. Cool 1 hour.
  14. Enjoy!
