• 2 cups butter
• 4 ounces chocolate chips
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 2 cups sugar
• 8 ounce chocolate bars grated
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 4 cups flour, all-purpose
• 2 cups brown sugar
• 3 cups nuts chopped
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 5 cups oatmeal blended *
• 4 large eggs

1. *Blended Oatmeal: Measure and blend in a blender to a fine powder.
2. Cream butter and both sugars.
3. Add eggs and vanilla.
4. Mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
5. Add chips, candy and nuts.
6. Roll into balls and place two (2) inches apart on a cookie sheet.
7. Bake for six (6) minutes at 375F (190C).
8. Makes 3 dozens of cookies, but recipe can halved.
