Cheesy Crescent Dogs

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees (F).
  2. Slice each hot dog lengthwise about 3/4 way through.
  3. Next cut each hot dog in half.
  4. Cut the 3x3x1/4 inch slice of cheese into 8 sticks, insert one stick of cheese into the cut side of each hot dog section.
  5. Roll out crescent dough and separate into the precut triangles.
  6. Starting at the widest end, lay one hot dog, cheese side up on the dough and roll up.
  7. Place on a baking sheet and bake for approximately 11 or more minutes doneness is personal preference.
  8. At 5000 feet, mine took about 16 minutes for the crescent dough to be nicely browned.
  9. Put your kids in the kitchen without fear that theyll destroy it and let them get involved in what theyre eating!
  10. Make these extra fancy or just plain Jane....
