Party Waldorf Mold

  1. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
  2. Cool slightly.
  3. Stir in sour cream until smooth.
  4. Refrigerate until thickened.
  5. Mix apple, celery, walnuts and lemon juice.
  6. Fold into gelatin mixture.
  7. Pour into 6-cup mold.
  8. Refrigerate until firm, about 4 hours.
  9. To serve, unmold salad onto lettuce leaves.
  10. If desired, garnish with dollops of sour cream, sprinkle with chopped nuts.
  11. Note: Cook time does not include chill time.
  12. Makes 12 servings.
