Peanut Butter Brownie Treats
- 2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips (12 oz.)
- 1/4 c. margarine or butter (1/2 stick)
- 1/2 c. peanut butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- Peanut Butter Frosting
- Heat oven to 350u0b0.
- Grease bottoms only of 12 medium muffin cups, 2 1/2 x 1 1/4-inches or line with paper baking cups.
- Melt chocolate chips and margarine in 2-quart saucepan over low heat. Stir in peanut butter until well blended.
- Beat in eggs, one at a time, until smooth; stir in vanilla.
- Beat in remaining ingredients except frosting until smooth.
- Divide batter evenly among muffin cups.
- Bake 18 to 22 minutes or until tops are dry.
- Cool; spread with frosting.
- Decorate each with a miniature peanut butter cup, if desired.
- Makes 12 brownies.
