Basic Salt Ramen
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- 1 tbsp Cooking sake
- 300 ml Water
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Chicken stock powder
- 1 tsp Lard
- 1/4 Chopped green onion
- Put all ingredients in a pot.
- Simmer and reduce slightly.
- Add water and bring to a boil.
- Add ingredients when it's nearly boiling.
- Cook the noodles.
- Pour the boiled soup into a serving bowl.
- Add the cooked noodles into the bowl as well.
- Top with green onions.
- Add char siu (Chinese-style roasted pork) or menma (pickled bamboo shoots) if you like.
