Lahm Ajin ( Meat Pie )
- 1 lb ground beef or 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 sweet red pepper
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 onion
- 12 cup fresh cilantro
- 12 teaspoon coriander
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 13 cup hot red pepper or 13 cup tomato paste
- 12 teaspoon cayenne pepper (the objective here is not to create a hot mix...its all about the flavor...so feel free to adjust to)
- once you are done with blending all the above in your food processor -- mix all the above with the meat -- i recommend that you marinate for at least 2-3 hours -- and remember -- the mix that you have created will be okay in your refrigerator for up to 48 hours -- if you feel like baking fresh ones the next day or two.
- Remember you can apply your mix to pre-cooked or fresh dough -- this recipe should cook quick -- 10-12 max if you using cooked dough -- for fresh dough 20-25 depending on your oven --
- preheat your oven to 450 for best results -- Enjoy.
