Stuffed Fried 'shrooms

  1. Combine cream cheese and dressing mix.
  2. Let stand for 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. Clean mushrooms and remove stems.
  4. When cheese has rested, use a teaspoon to fill mushroom caps.
  5. Combine flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt and cayenne pepper in a small bowl.
  6. Pour milk into another small bowl.
  7. Dip mushroom first in milk and then in flour.
  8. Do this twice.
  9. Put coated mushroom into the freezer for at least 3 hours.
  10. When mushrooms are frozen, heat oil in a deep fryer to 350 degrees F.
  11. Use enough oil to cover mushrooms completely.
  12. Fry for 8 to 10 minutes until golden.
  13. Drain.
  14. Let sit for a couple of minutes before serving.
  15. Yields 4 servings.
