Christmas Pie
- pastry for 2 crust pie
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 lb. ground veal
- 1/2 lb. ground pork
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. allspice
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. diced, cooked chicken
- 1 beaten egg
- Use 1/2
- of
- the crust to line a 9-inch pie pan.
- Saute onion int
- tablespoon
- margarine.
- Addteal and pork; brown slightly. Add
- seasonings,
- flour, water, milk and egg; bring to a
- boil. Spread
- evenly
- intrust.trrange diced chicken over this. Cover
- with remaining pastry;
- turn under edge and seal.
- Cut slits
- in
- top.
- Preheat
- oven to 375u0b0; bake for 1 hour.
- Let stand
- for 10 minutes before cutting.
- May also be served cold. Serves 8.
