Spaghetti With Brown Butter

  1. Bring 6 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Add the salt, and stir.
  3. Once the water is boiling, add the dry spaghetti noodles to the water.
  4. Check the spaghetti once it has been cooking for about 10 minutes to see if it is al dente.
  5. That is firm in the center, but still chewy.
  6. Once it is al dente, drain the water.
  7. While the spaghetti is cooking, Heat the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  8. Stir the butter so that it will not burn.
  9. Remove from heat when butter turns light brown and gives off a nutty aroma.
