Chicken pie

  1. In a saucepan, melt butter, add chopped onions and bacon lardons,chicken, seasoning, fry for 2 minutes
  2. Add wine, mushrooms and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add sieved flour, stirring, add in milk gradually stirring.
  4. Add thyme.
  5. Simmer for 20 minutes or untill chicken tender.
  6. Add pre-boiled potatos.
  7. Pour mixture into pie dish and top with pastry.
  8. Remember to slit the top to release air.
  9. Brush with milk to glaze top.
  10. Bake in oven untill pastry done.
