Peanut Butter And Jelly Cake

  1. Cream margarine and peanut butter; gradually add sugar, beating at medium speed of electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  2. Combine dry ingredients and add alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
  3. Mix well after each addition.
  4. Stir in vanilla.
  5. Pour batter into 2 greased and floured 9-inch round pans for 10 minutes.
  6. Remove from pans and cool completely on wire racks.
  7. Spread jelly between layers; spread top and sides with peanut butter frostings.
  8. Garnish with chopped peanuts if desired.
