Peanut Butter And Jelly Cake
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/4 c. creamy peanut butter
- 1 1/3 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 c. grape jelly
- 2 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. baking flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Cream margarine and peanut butter; gradually add sugar, beating at medium speed of electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Combine dry ingredients and add alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
- Mix well after each addition.
- Stir in vanilla.
- Pour batter into 2 greased and floured 9-inch round pans for 10 minutes.
- Remove from pans and cool completely on wire racks.
- Spread jelly between layers; spread top and sides with peanut butter frostings.
- Garnish with chopped peanuts if desired.
