Crispy Peanut Butter Cookies

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Mix flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
  3. Beat margarine with peanut butter until smooth.
  4. Gradually beat in sugar; continue beating until light and fluffy.
  5. Beat in egg.
  6. Add flour mixture alternately with milk, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
  7. Add vanilla.
  8. Using 1 teaspoon of dough for each, shape into balls, then flatten with glass.
  9. Press cereal on top of dough.
  10. Place about 2 inches apart on cookie sheets which have been sprayed with no stick cooking spray.
  11. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
  12. Remove and cool on wire racks.
