Amish Country Casserole Recipe

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Coat a 3-qt casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat and saute/fry onion for 2 to 3 min.
  4. Add in the grnd beef and cook for 4 to 6 min, or possibly till browned.
  5. Stir in the tomato soup; set aside.
  6. In a large soup pot, cook the noodles according to the package directions; drain well and return the noodles to the pot.
  7. Stir in the mushroom soup.
  8. Place half of the beef mix into the casserole dish.
  9. Add in half of the noodle mix and repeat with the remaining beef and noodle mixtures.
  10. Sprinkle with paprika and bake for 25 to 30 min, or possibly till heated through and bubbly.
  11. This recipe yields 8 servings.
