Apple Onion Rye Abm
- 2 1/4 teaspoons yeast, active dry
- 178 cups bread flour
- 1 1/2 cups rye flour
- 13 cup cracked wheat (bulgur)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon salt
- 1/2 tablespoon caraway seeds
- 2 each garlic cloves crushed
- 1 medium onions chopped
- 1 large apples chopped
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup water
- Bring all ingredients to room temperature and pour into bakery, in order.
- Set "baking control" at 10 o'clock.
- Select "white bread" and push Start.
- In hot & humid weather, use 18 cup less water.
- This barely sweet, fruity rye tastes good with scrambled eggs or in a turkey sandwich.
- For tea sandwiches, slice thin and spread with cream cheese and toasted sliced almonds.
