Nacho Mamas Cheese Nachos
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 3 Tablespoons Flour
- 1 cup Milk
- 5- 1/2 cups Shredded Cheese (I Used Pepper Jack)
- 1 can (4 Oz. Can) Green Chiles
- 1/2 teaspoons Chili Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Cumin
- 1 bunch (small Bunch) Cilantro
- 1/2 cups Salsa
- 1 bag (about 13 Oz. Bag) Tortilla Chips, To Serve
- Assorted Toppings (I Used Chicken, Tomatoes, Green Onions, Black Beans, Avocado)
- To get started, grab a pan and melt up your butter.
- Add in the flour and create a roux.
- Then add in your milk, put the heat on medium and let the mixture thicken.
- Turn the heat down to low and add in the cheese.
- Once its melted, add in your green chiles, chili powder, cumin, and cilantro.
- Now add in the salsa.
- Lay your chips in an ovenproof bowl and pour the cheese over the top.
- Now add on your desired toppings.
- Throw them in the oven for about 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
- Servings: 4
