Less Calories and Less Washing! Baked Tonkatsu

  1. Roast the panko in a frying pan until golden brown - do not burn.
  2. Cool down in the pan.
  3. Slice a block of pork leg.
  4. Salt and pepper both sides.
  5. Put the white flour and pork slices into a thick plastic bag.
  6. Let in a little air, then close and shake well to coat the pork with the flour evenly.
  7. Check inside and if the slices of pork are stuck together, separate them and coat with flour.
  8. Add the mayonnaise into the plastic bag and rub over the pork slices.
  9. Make sure the mayonnaise coats the meat evenly.
  10. Transfer Step 5 to the cooled pan with panko and coat.
