Turnips with Wasabi Soy Sauce and Mayonnaise

  1. Remove the stalk from the turnip.
  2. Evenly chop the turnip into 16 pieces.
  3. Chop the stalk to 2 cm lengths.
  4. In a heated frying pan, add 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise and the minced garlic, and evenly spread over the pan.
  5. Add the turnip and saute, evenly coating it in the mayonnaise.
  6. Evenly spread the turnip over the pan, cover with a lid, then fry until slightly browned.
  7. Flip over and fry the other side.
  8. Add the turnip greens, spread evenly, then add the rest of the mayonnaise to coat all the ingredients.
  9. Let sit a while until the greens become tender.
  10. When the greens are tender, saute while stirring to evenly distribute the mayonnaise.
  11. Combine the wasabi and soy sauce, drizzle in a circle from the edge of the pan inwards, quickly saute, then serve.
