Easy oven roasted roma tomatoes
- 1 As many halved Roma's as you can fit on a baking sheet
- 1 Enough Olive oil to drizzle liberally over tomatoes
- 1 Sea salt, to taste
- 1 Fresh ground pepper, to taste
- 1 Onion powder, to taste
- 1 Balsamic vinegar, optional
- 1 Sprinkle of Italian seasoning. Optional.
- Heat oven to 200 F.
- Cut tip ends off of tomatoes, then slice in half.
- Place on baking sheet cut side up.
- Drizzle sliced tomatoes liberally with olive oil.
- Sprinkle with sea salt, fresh ground pepper & onion powder.
- Bake for 2-4 hrs until tomatoes are semi dehydrated.
- More or less depending on how you like them.
- Sprinkle with Italian seasoning at the end to add a nice flavor.
- Optional....but GOOD.
- Drizzle a bit of balsamic vinegar about 1/2 way or at the end of baking.
- Vinegar is optional but gives a bit more depth of flavor.
