Easy oven roasted roma tomatoes

  1. Heat oven to 200 F.
  2. Cut tip ends off of tomatoes, then slice in half.
  3. Place on baking sheet cut side up.
  4. Drizzle sliced tomatoes liberally with olive oil.
  5. Sprinkle with sea salt, fresh ground pepper & onion powder.
  6. Bake for 2-4 hrs until tomatoes are semi dehydrated.
  7. More or less depending on how you like them.
  8. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning at the end to add a nice flavor.
  9. Optional....but GOOD.
  10. Drizzle a bit of balsamic vinegar about 1/2 way or at the end of baking.
  11. Vinegar is optional but gives a bit more depth of flavor.
