Five Spice Pork Tenderloin with Strawberry Balsamic Sauce
- 80 grams pork tenderloin sliced
- 10 pinch salt
- 10 pinch black pepper ground
- 2 pinch sage dried
- 2 pinch cumin ground
- 2 pinch nutmeg ground
- 2 pinch coriander seeds ground
- 2 pinch thyme dried
- 2 teaspoons sunflower oil
- 6 each strawberries fresh, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar dark
- 1 teaspoon honey forest honey
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice optionally
- 1 each strawberries fresh, for garnish
- 1 - Cut tenderloin into 1 cm slices (ca.
- 1/2 inch) to obtain 5 pieces of meat.
- Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper on each of 10 sides.
- Sprinkle both sides of each medallion with one of given spices.
- Cover and set aside for about 10 minutes.
- 2 - Meanwhile prepare the sauce.
- Add strawberries, vinegar, honey and optionally lemon juice to a small saucepan.
- Bring to boil and simmer for few minutes to reduce some water.
- Try to stir from time to time.
- 3 - Warm a skillet with oil, and fry medallions on both sides for 1 to 3 minutes.
- It depends on a kind of doneness you like.
- 4 - Place all five medallions on the plate, cover with the sauce, garnish with strawberry slices.
- Place your favorite additions to compose your meal.
