Eggless & Milkless Cake Recipe

• 2 c. sugar
• 2 c. cool water
• 2 c. raisins
• 2 tbsp. shortening
• 3 c. flour
• 1 teaspoon soda
• 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon cloves
• A little salt
• 1/2 teaspoon allspice
• 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

1. Boil together for 5 min; sugar, water, raisins and shortening.
2. Let cold then add in the rest of the ingredients.
3. Put in greased 9 x 13 inch pan.
4. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
