NuWave Buttermilk Cheese Biscuits
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup cheddar cheese old, sharp with lots of flavor
- 2 cups biscuit baking mix (bisquick)
- 2 tablespoons butter melted
- 1/2 teaspoon italian parsley fresh minced or dried
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- In a mixing bowl, combine the biscuit baking mix (homemade, see link below, or Bisquick), buttermilk and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Mix together until just combined using a wooden spoon.
- Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and spoon onto a greased baking pan that will fit in your NuWave or FlavorWave oven.
- Flatten slightly if desired.
- Bake in your NuWave oven at #8 setting until the biscuits begin to brown.
- In a small bowl mix together the melted butter, garlic and onion powders and parsley.
- Brush this mixture over the top of each biscuit.
- Serve warm, 2 biscuits per serving for 6 servings or 3 biscuits per serving for 4.
