Savory Italian Stuffing for Turkey or Mushrooms

  1. Melt butter in 4-5 quart pan.
  2. Brown sausage, with celery and onion in butter.
  3. Stir in mushrooms and saute briefly.
  4. Remove from heat add in remaining ingredients.
  5. Salt to taste.
  6. Can be cooked in a buttered baking dish (350F for 25 minutes) or stuffed into a 14-16 lb bird.
  7. If using baking dish method, baste with turkey juice once or twice while cooking.
