Fried Masala Chicken

  1. Mix sour cream, milk and 2 tsp.
  2. garam masala; spoon over chicken in shallow dish.
  3. Turn to evenly coat chicken.
  4. Refrigerate 2 hours to marinate, turning chicken after 1 hour.
  5. Remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade.
  6. Mix flour, cornstarch, salt and remaining garam masala in separate shallow dish.
  7. Add chicken; turn to evenly coat both sides of each piece.
  8. Heat oil in large skillet to 350F.
  9. Add half the chicken; cook 15 to 20 min.
  10. or until chicken is golden brown and done (165 degrees F).
  11. Drain on paper towels.
  12. Repeat with remaining chicken.
