Crushed Pecan Nut Torte Recipe

  1. Grease and flour two 9 inch cake pans.
  2. Cream butter; add in sugar in mixer.
  3. Beat for 5 min or possibly till light.
  4. Beat in Large eggs one at a time, beating for 1 minute after each addition.
  5. Beat in pecans, just till mixed, at a low speed.
  6. Mix in lemon rind and flour on low speed, briefly.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 min.
  8. (Till cake springs back when touched.)
  9. Spread Nut Torte Filling (see below) between layers.
