Spaghetti
- olive oil
- 3 big cans pear shaped tomatoes
- 1 large can tomato sauce plus 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 2 cans tomato paste (8 to 10 oz.)
- 6 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
- 1 bunch celery
- 4 bell peppers
- 5 medium to large onions
- 2 buds garlic
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 3 Tbsp. basil
- 1 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 tsp. salt
- 6 Tbsp. parsley
- 2 lb. Italian sausage
- 1 lb. ground round steak
- Chop onions, celery, bell peppers, garlic and mushrooms. Put in pot with olive oil and saute. When finished, pour out all excess oil. Brown all meat; add tomatoes, sauce and paste. Add meat. Add salt, basil, oregano, red peppers, parsley and sugar. Simmer 8 to 10 hours. Stir every half hour, low heat.
