Beef And Chicken Dish
- 1 (18 oz.) pkg. noodles
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 3 c. chopped celery
- 2 c. chopped onions
- 2 c. green peppers
- salt and pepper to taste
- 3 qt. boiling water
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 medium-size jar stuffed olives
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 chicken
- 2 small cans mushrooms, cut in pieces
- 2 cans mushroom soup
- 1 lb. American sharp cheese
- Cook chicken, let cool and take off of bones.
- Use some of the broth to thin out mushroom soup.
- Put 1/2 stick of margarine in pan; add chopped celery, onions and peppers.
- Cook until not quite done; cook beef until crumbly.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook until not quite done.
- Cook noodles in boiling water and 1 tablespoon salt.
- Do not cook fully done; drain.
- Put chicken, beef, noodles, onions, celery, green peppers, mushrooms and olives together and add your mushroom soup, thinned out with some broth from the chicken (not too much).
- Mix all together well with noodles.
- Grate sharp American cheese; add half to the mixture and put remaining over the top.
- Bake for 1 hour in 350u0b0 oven.
