three cheese mac and cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1 oz can evaporated mil
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 1 pinch grated nutmeg
- 1 1/3 cup grated munster cheese
- 4 slice munster cheese
- 1/2 cup graded sharp cheddar
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan
- 4 cup medium or small pasta shells
- whist egg, evaporated milk, cayene pepper, nutmeg, and slat and pepper to taste in bowl.
- toss the grated cheeses in separate bowl
- bring a large pot of salted water to boil cook pasta al dente
- combine the egg mix and the grated cheeses in the empty pot and cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until cheeses melt and sauce begins to thicken.
- stir in reserved 1/4 cup pasta water until creamy
- toss the pasta in the sauce, season with salt and pepper.
- transfer to shallow casserole dish aned top with munster cheese slices.
- add breadcrumbs mixed with butter and briol for 5 minutes
