Welsh Currant Cookies

  1. Heat butter and molasses together until the butter has melted. Blend in the brown sugar.
  2. Mix in the flour and ginger thoroughly.
  3. While mixture is still hot, roll out dough, a small amount at a time, on a lightly floured board.
  4. It should be very thin.
  5. Cut with cookie cutters, hearts, diamonds, etc.
  6. Put on a greased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake in slow oven, 325u0b0, for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
  8. When rolled thin makes about 12 dozen.
