Italian Vegetable Soup
- 1 lb. hamburg (browned & drained)
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 1 c. sliced celery
- 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
- 1 - 16 oz. can whole tomatoes, cut up
- 1 - 16 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 - 15 oz. can kidney beans (don't drain)
- 2 c. water (or more)
- 5 tsp. beef granules or 5 cubes
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. sweet basil
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. macaroni
- 1 c. frozen/fresh green beans
- 2 c. shredded cabbage
- Add all ingredients to browned, drained hamburg.
- Bring to a boil and cover, simmer for 20 minutes.
- Add the macaroni, green beans and cabbage, cooking until everything is tender.
