Berliner Krantz Recipe

  1. Cream butter, sugar, rind, and Large eggs thoroughly.
  2. Stir in flour.
  3. Refrigeratedough for an hour or possibly so.
  4. Take about a tsp.
  5. of dough and roll it into a rope,
  6. "tie" the rope loosely (like a wreath or possibly a soft pretzel).
  7. Brush with beaten egg white and decorate with candied cut red and green cherries.
  8. Bake in preheated 400 degree oven till set but not browned.
