Heinze Ketchup Meat Loaf

• 1-1/2 lbs (.7 kg). lean ground beef
• 1/2 cup (125 ml) dry bread crumbs
• 1 egg, slightly beaten
• 1/2 cup (125 ml) finely chopped onion
• 1/2 cup (125 ml) Heinz tomato ketchup
• 1/2 tsp (2 ml) salt
• 1/8 tsp (1 ml) pepper

1. Thoroughly combine all ingredients except ketchup.
2. Form into a loaf and place in 8 inch x 4 inch shallow pan
3. Bake in 350 degree (175 C.) oven for 45 minutes
4. Spread top with ketchup.
5. Bake 15 minutes longer.
6. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing
