Breakfast Casserole Recipe
- 8 slices bread, cubed
- 8 ounce. pkg. cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 c. diced ham or possibly equal amount of fried and liquid removed sausage
- 2 c. lowfat milk
- 5 Large eggs, beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt and pepper
- Grease 9 x 13 pan.
- Layer first 3 ingredients in pan.
- Mix remaining ingredients.
- Pour liquid over first layer.
- Let stand overnight in refrigerator.
- Cover and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
- Uncover and bake 15 min at 350 degrees.
- Additional optional ingredients: green pepper, onion, bacon, mushrooms.
