Grill a Better Burger
- 1- 1/2 pound Grass-fed Beef
- 1/2 cups Onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 4 dashes Kosher Salt
- 2 dashes Pepper, Freshly Ground
- 8 slices Artisinal Cheese, Room Temperature
- 4 whole Buns, Good Quality
- Preheat a grill to medium heat.
- Put the uncooked beef in a bowl and add the onion and garlicno salt yet.
- Mix gently to combine then create 4 light and loosely formed patties.
- Sprinkle each burger with salt and pepper right before you put it on the grill.
- Immediately grill them at medium heat.
- Keep the lid closed and grill until marked on the bottom, 3 to 5 minutes.
- Turn and grill until the other side is marked and the patties feel firm, 3 to 5 more minutes.
- Theyre perfectly done when they measure 160 F inside.
- If desired, top each burger with 2 slices of cheese (dont put cold cheese on them and never American) during the last 2 minutes of cooking and cover with foil to melt.
- Remove burgers from the grill onto a clean platter.
- Let the burgers stand for 2 or 3 minutes to allow juice to redistribute.
- And dont stop at the burger, serve on good quality buns!
