Halloween Kabocha Cake Made in a Rice Cooker from Pancake Mix
- 150 grams Pancake mix
- 2 Eggs
- 100 grams Margarine
- 3 tbsp Granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp Cinnamon
- 300 grams Kabocha squash (with skin and seeds removed)
- 1 Icing sugar
- 1 any you like Stencil
- 1 Margarine for greasing
- Cut the kabocha squash into small pieces.
- Put them in a heatproof bowl, wrap and microwave for 8 minutes.
- Mash when softened.
- Add margarine to the kabocha, wrap and microwave for another minute.
- Add granulated sugar, cinnamon, egg and pancake mix and mix well.
- Grease a rice cooker bowl with margarine and pour in the mixture from step 3.
- Switch on the normal rice setting!
- If it doesn't cook the first time, cook it again.
- When it's done, let it cool a little, invert and transfer to a plate.
- Put the paper stencil on the top and sprinkle on some icing sugar with a tea strainer.
- Remove the paper stencil very carefully.
