Smoked mackerel pate recipe
- 4 smoked mackerel fillets, skinned
- 200 g (7.1oz) cream cheese
- 3 tsp horseradish sauce
- 1 lemon, zest and juice
- 1 small handful flat leaf parsley, chopped
- 1 pinch salt and pepper
- Place all the ingredients, except the salt and pepper, in a food processor and using the pulse action process the mixture in short bursts until just combined.
- Season well with salt and pepper.
- Taste and add more lemon juice if required.
- Serve with toast or crackers.
