Brioche Buns With Hot Shrimp And Artichokes Recipe

  1. Prepare Brioche buns.
  2. Heat margarine in 2-qt saucepan over low heat till melted.
  3. Stir in onions; cook and stir till onions are soft, 2 to 3 min.
  4. Stir in baking mix and pepper.
  5. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, till mix is bubbly; remove from heat.
  6. Very gradually stir in lowfat milk.
  7. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly; boil and stir 1 minute.
  8. Stir in sherry, artichoke hearts, shrimp and mushrooms.
  9. Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently, till shrimp is warm, 12 to 15 min.
  10. Cut each Brioche Bun horizontally into halves.
  11. Spoon shrimp mix onto bottom halves; sprinkle with snipped parsley if you like.
  12. Cover with top halves.
