The Best Pie Crust

  1. Mix flour and salt in large bowl.
  2. Cut in shortening to resemble coarse bread crumbs.
  3. Add water, one tablespoon at a time, until dough comes together and is soft but not sticky.
  4. Roll out on floured surface.
  5. Bake as per directions for pie.
  6. If you need a pre-baked pie crust, bake in oven at 325 degrees for 10-20 minutes, until golden.
