Shrimp Or Crawfish Casserole
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
- 2 stalks chopped celery
- 4 bread slices
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 lb. crawfish or shrimp
- 4 tsp. chopped parsley
- 2 c. cooked rice
- 1 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. margarine
- Saute onions,
- celery
- and bell pepper until clear; add Ro-Tel tomatoes and garlic powder and cook for 5 minutes.tdd mushroom soup and
- water; this is to be cooked a while longer. Soak bread intater,tqueeze
- water out and break into small pieces;
- add to cooked mixture.then add crawfish or shrimp, rice and parsley. Cook 10 minutes; finally, pour into 2 quart buttered casserole and sprinkle top with bread crumbs and dot with margarine.take uncovered at 450u0b0 until brown.
