Hollis' Homemade Spaghetti Sauce

  1. Saute onions, garlic, bell pepper and tomato paste; cook until onions are clear.
  2. Add tomato sauce, refilling the cans with water; add to mixture.
  3. Add ground meat, breaking up as you add. Add seasonings and sugar; season to taste.
  4. Cook at least one hour or longer, up to two or three hours on low fire.
  5. Serve over thin spaghetti noodles.
  6. Serves 15 to 20 people.
