Mary's Hot Wings Recipe

  1. Wash chicken wings; don't pat dry.
  2. Season with season salt, garlic pwdr and grnd cayenne pepper, then roll in flour.
  3. Heat oil in heavy pot.
  4. Brown chicken on both sides, half cooking them till all have been done.
  5. Pour off grease.
  6. Put wings back in pot and add in 5 c. water.
  7. Bring to a boil; add in onions, tomatoes, scallions, and red pepper.
  8. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  9. Serve over warm rice.
