Simply the Best Chocolate Brownies
- 4 tablespoons butter unsalted, plus 1 tsp
- 1/4 cup flour, all-purpose plus 1 tsp
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 ounces chocolate unsweetened unsweetened, broken into pieces
- 2 ounces chocolate (semi-sweet) broken into pieces
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sugar granulated
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- Butter and flour a square baking pan.
- Sift together dry ingredients.
- Melt butter in a double boiler; add chocolate and melt.
- Beat together eggs, sugar and vanilla.
- Stir in chocolate mixture until well combined.
- Add dry ingredients.
- Add sour cream.
- Place batter in prepared pan and bake at 325F (160C)ahrenheit for 40 minutes.
